What is you opinion on this article, "The Christian Fascists Are Growing Stronger"?

My first reaction is to say, "Christianity has been on the decline in the last few decades so this must be wrong." However, in the last few years there has been a sort of Christian Uprising going on. By no means do I think this'll be the Crusades all over again but things definitely have the potential to get violent.
