Marhaba to everybody!?

Hi, well I am trying to learn the Lebanese language as well, and it's very difficult even though I live in Lebanon and I hear it every day! Whoever said that Lebanese is Arabic is incorrect. It's like saying that Spanish is the same as Italian. They have similarities but if you learn Arabic you will not be able to speak Lebanese and vice versa. I know this because I studied Arabic before I moved to Lebanon, and I didn't understand hardly anything at first. I recommend a book called "Spoken Lebanese" by Maksoud N. Feghali. It has Lebanese conversation, vocabulary, grammar, and culture. My husband says it's a good book, and he's a native speaker.
