What is the interpretation of this poem?

i believe its saying how people tend to be selfish and think abhout there own problems, and they dont want to worry about others gieveing or sadness cause thgey got there own to worry about. How people must go though pain alone because the world likes to turn it back on pain and loss because we are in denial, and being fake happy does get you lots of friend cause people feed on the joy aura and how they like that.. basically our world is in denial about reall life and current events
